Faye Austin

Originally from London, England, Faye has been in Sweden for almost 10 years and loves being an honorary Swede.

Faye spent many years learning voice technique with one of London’s leading singing and voice experts, Professor Howard Milner, before training in Musical Theatre at the Royal Academy of Music in London. Since graduating, she has travelled and performed extensively as a singer and actress. Working in Paris, London and the US, Faye has worked at the world famous Moulin Rouge and performed the role of Fantine in “Les Miserables” in London.

Between 2004 and 2006 she was the Company Manager for the Jean Ann Ryan Production Company performing in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “Music of the Night” and Serj Trujillo’s “Bollywood”. She has taught master classes in musical theatre both in Sweden and in London to children of all ages as well as adult professionals and teaches both drama and dance to children of the Gothenburg branch of the Scandinavia International Theatre School.
